It is found Ninglang County in the northwest of Yunnan Province, bordered on the north by Zhongdian County and Sichuan Province and on the south by Dali, and linked to Kunming 590 km sway by a state highway and airlines. Jade-dragon Snow Mountain sits in the center of the resort, which also embraces the ancient city of Lijiang, Shigu Town (where the first bend of the 10,000-Li yangtze River is situated), and the Lugu Lake of Nyinglang County.
