第二天又起得很早，去虎跳峡。这次就决定不写虎跳峡了，因为想到徒步虎跳峡的惊险和刺激，坐车去看看水就没有写的灵感了。到是在去的路上听了很多故事。我们包的车的司机曾经是一个当地的向导。有人说中甸的香格里拉是图有虚名，但他说其实是因为真正美的地方太难去了，路途很艰难，需要向导，即使那样也很危险。他曾经就是向导，走从香格里拉进西藏的路线。关于这条路线，有一本很有名的书叫《消失的地平线》，讲了很多有关香格里拉和西藏神秘的故事。所以一直有老外冒险走这条路。在路上，开着2020的吉普，经常一整天看不到一个人，有时要自己动手修路，打猎补充食物，而且要注意车况。他告诉我们有一本书叫《滇藏……》详细地记载了这条路线的路况，车况，沿线的居民区，专为冒险家准备。他还告诉我们去年他给一个法国人做向导。那个法国人骑自行车从新疆到西藏再从西藏经香格里拉进云南……真是有好多传奇啊！真希望有一天我也能开着吉普去做这样的一次冒险。对了，他告诉我有一个北大的学生，毕业后为很多公司做事，只要生活费加一样装备（那些装备很贵的），两年时间他终于凑齐了所有的装备，来到了西部，开始了他的冒险。说不定我毕业后也先去挣钱，也向他学习了。中午我们在虎跳峡景点外的餐馆里吃了饭，我付帐。友子就坚持要晚上请我吃西餐。今天算是最轻松的一天了，我的时间也越来越少了。两个老师决定明天去泸沽湖--一个美丽的湖，那儿有世界上仅存的唯一一个母系社会。我这次去不了了。晚上，终于有时间好好逛逛丽江古城了。晚上我和友子一起逛古城。城里有一面猜字墙，这里纳西族的相形文字。四方街总是有人在跳舞，哪都能听到古乐。城里哪都能看到小河，有人在放河灯“放一盏河灯，许一个心愿”。城里有很多艺术家，只要你显示出对艺术的尊重，他们会无比的友好。详细地介绍一下丽江的历史吧。

沿着古老的四方街慢慢逡巡，那流水的清音一直回响在你的耳畔，走在“五花石”铺就的窄窄的巷道里，似乎是漫步在悠长的历史空间之中，自己的心绪则在历史与现实的交错中逐渐迷失，不知所往。走到四方街的科贡坊，老街与流水同时在这里分成了几条相互纠缠着的叉道，曲径通幽，你可以一个人站在街中心，发发呆，看看人，看看风景，你也不妨随便走进一条深深的巷子里，就这样不辩东西地一直走下去。到丽江有十件事要做，第一件就是要找一条属于自己的小巷，长长的，只有你一人。我找了五一大街，这没有商店，没有商业气味。只有古朴。在这条巷子的中间有一块破旧的牌子，上面写着雨巷。到丽江的第二件事是要找一个院子发呆。我住的客栈就是一个纳西庭院。走进一家古朴素雅的纳西庭院，那是一个吸取了汉白风格，而又自成一体的纳西四合院，有着宽敞明亮的走廊，精美细致的木雕。在这里无论任何季节，你都能看到鲜花盛开，你也总能受到好客的纳西人热情的接待，你能够想象到，在这样的庭院中抚枕而卧，窗外流水潺潺，鸟鸣悠悠，枝叶扶疏，那将是一幅如何自然动人的天籁，你会感受到自己已经与自然融为一体，你会有一种游子归家的归依感，你会为自己的心灵找到一个温暖的港湾。是丽江的封闭与偏远成就了今日的丽江？还是丽江人的价值观念与生活方式造就了这样一个悠然自适的乐土？我曾经听一位纳西老人讲了这样一个故事：“一位外国观光客发现一个纳西老太太每天都坐在门前无所事事，便过去问她：'你每天坐在这里干什么呢？'老太太回答：'烤太阳'。'你难道不觉得这样的生活节奏有点太慢了吗？'老太太不紧不慢地说道：'人生只有一个目标就是坟墓，你走那么快赶到那里去干什么呢？'”我也和一位老太太攀谈过。只是她已经老得很难听清我在说什么了。她静静地做在流水潺潺的小桥边，有时是坐在院子的门口卖着香包。我买了她的几个香包，比别人高得多的价钱。她对我说了很多祝福的话。每次到城里都能看到她，她就那么静静地坐着，也许她已经听不见流水的声音了……这样的老人在丽江已经是越来越难看到了。在纳西文化的沉静悠远中无疑蕴涵着人生的睿智，那是一种不为形役的精神境界，而在今天的都市生活之中，这种人生睿智与精神境界已经成为隔世之音，已被现代商业文化冲击得荡然无存。于是，今日的丽江就理所当然地成为都市文化的一种回归，成为现代都市人的一个田园美梦。
我和友子找了一家CAFE点了PIZZA，CURRY RICE AND TEA……这的西餐比大理贵，但任然算便宜（和上海比）。我们在那里一边吃一边聊到12点。友子也算是个艺术家。她在冲绳读的大学，学习雕刻。她说因为冲绳是美军基地，所以她的英文还很不错。我发现在丽江中国人的英语水平最差，接着就是日本人，然后是法国人，其他的英文水平都不错。她是辞职来旅游的（很多人都是这样），她还要去新疆，西藏，尼泊尔，巴基斯坦和印度。一个女孩子，真勇敢。在这里，你真的能发现很多勇敢的女孩，但肯定不是中国人。很多CAFE都代售雪山音乐节的票，很快就全卖完了。
第二天一起床就已经是11点了，这几天实在太累了。一出门就有两个人过来打招呼（人到这儿都会变得热情起来）。他们一上来就说要我留联系方法。他们从广西来，是做会计的。她们说他们要回去辞职来这开个客栈，以后给我寄名片。他们厌倦了职场上的勾心斗角，这里的一切深深吸引了他们。确实，丽江是有这种魅力的。我的时间不多了，今天客栈里的人不多了，老外们都去虎跳峡了。下午去定票回昆明。买了今天晚上的卧铺大巴的票。就要离开了。再逛了一圈古城。碰到了一对找地方住的夫妇。男的是澳大利亚人（要到上海交大做老师），女的是中国人。带他们到我住的客栈，友子搬走了，留了个纸条约我在另一个客栈吃饭，美国人babby也给我留了个联系方法。那队刚住进去，人又住满了。又来了个日本女孩，也是一个人，被着牛大一个包，她不肯和男人住。她是个大美女哦。我要走了，干脆就退房了，让给她了。和客栈里的每个人都告别留了地址后，就去了另一家客栈（同一个老板）。里面的人同样很友好，可以和里面人聊天。友子回来了，7点开饭。坐一座的有香港人，日本人。后来来了个法国老头。他是个老师，从土耳其，经印度，巴基斯坦和尼泊尔过来的。饭菜很丰盛，每个人只要8元钱，很合算。
8点，要离开了，友子和店里的老奶奶送我上车，就这样离开了这个如此美好的地方。也许明年，我还会来。
到昆明是早上了，和同学吃过午饭就上了火车。火车也是个好地方，车上我认识了一个中央财大的，她给我讲了很多关于她的家西双版纳，羡慕死我了。还有JENNY,英国人，利兹大学的硕士生，做有关与奥邻匹克的工作，将要在上海工作。还有一个当兵的，一个搞笑的人……
这就是我14天的旅行了，来云南14天是不够的，那有太多的地方值得去。这里我看到了许多不同的价值观，和生活方式。也许我也改变了对生活的很多看法。
